Octopus Camp Field Trip Adventure at Ob Khan National Park

Our Octopus campers recently enjoyed an unforgettable outdoor learning experience during our field trip to Ob Khan National Park, one of Chiang Mai’s most beautiful natural treasures.
Surrounded by lush forest, dramatic cliffs, and the flowing Khan River, our students had the opportunity to connect with nature while learning beyond the classroom.

🌱 Learning Through Nature

Throughout the day, campers explored the park through guided nature walks, where they discovered local plants, wildlife, and unique rock formations. Our teachers encouraged curiosity, observation, and discussion, helping children develop a deeper understanding of the natural environment and the importance of conservation.

🏞️ Adventure & Exploration

The highlight of the trip was exploring the canyon and river areas, where students enjoyed safe, supervised adventure activities. These experiences helped build confidence, teamwork, and resilience—core values of our Octopus Camp programme.

🎨 Creative & Reflective Activities

Campers also participated in outdoor art and journaling sessions, where they reflected on what they saw, heard, and felt in nature. This allowed them to express their creativity while strengthening mindfulness and appreciation for the world around them.

💚 Building Friendships & Memories

Beyond the learning, the day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and new friendships. Experiences like these help children grow socially and emotionally while creating joyful childhood memories.

At Octopus Camp, we believe that the best learning happens when children are active, curious, and connected to the world around them. Our field trips are designed to inspire a lifelong love of nature, adventure, and discovery.
We look forward to many more exciting journeys together!
