Success! A4K Celebrates a Fun First Week of Fresh Air Camp

On Monday, March 23, our students and camp staff kicked off the first day of Fresh Air Camp in Hua, Hin, a beachside town about 2 hours south of Bangkok. Adventures4Kids is excited to offer this unique camp experience of beach life, for kids and their families to enjoy. With the convenience of van transportation for all students to/from residences, A4K is offering unique services that support the whole family’s holiday, in partnership with True Arena for fun camp offerings like swimming, sports, and outdoor adventures.
With the benefit of a small classroom size, Fresh Air Campers (ages 3 up to 16) explore and engage safely on the pristine beaches and jungles of Thailand, with curriculum dedicated to fun and holistic subjects. During the first week of camp, 5 students and two staff members enjoyed a field trip to the waterpark, as well as daily focused activities like swimming and football at True Arena, cooking class, building with legos, outdoor education, and the chance to make beautiful works of art, mainly with recycled materials. Every week, A4K offers campers the field trip so they can enjoy the fullness of what Hua Hin has to offer, encouraging the kids to grow in curiosity and make wonderful memories in community together. When asked about Fresh Air Camp so far, one of our camp teachers, Mr. James, reported back:

“As an A4K camp teacher and the ‘Outdoor Survival Skills’ enrichment teacher for Esara, I think it’s so important to teach kids in an experiential setting. So, for campers to learn about protecting the oceans, while attending camp so close to the ocean, is a unique opportunity.
To lead the kids through fun, grounding activities in art, building, science, and even baking, has made Fresh Air camp such a fun program to facilitate. With several students returning for camp again next week, I’m excited to keep fostering these connections with camp families, and to help the kids create new memories exploring together out in nature!” – Mr. James

Environmental consciousness is at the heart of our identity as a camp. Because of this, we also harness this unique opportunity on the beach to teach students about conserving our oceans, protecting the environment, and finding creative ways to repurpose materials and get excited to recycle. Each week brings with it a different camp theme–but these focus areas for learning, and our principles of safety, sustainability, and intercultural community, connect across all of our programs and A4K camps.
As we embark on our second week of camp, there is still time to register for the final upcoming camp sessions in Hua Hin! Join in the fun for Eco-Warrior camp from April 6-10th, or Around-The-World Camp from April 13-17th.
Please Note: Around-The-World Camp will be held over the Songkran Holiday, making for a great chance to send your kids to camp to safely enjoy the fun–while you get to go enjoy the holiday yourself!
